April 30, 1875 Edwin Benjamin-1833 to John Benjamn-1823

Winona, Minn
April 30, 1875
Dear John,
I arrived here this afternoon.   I was in Hastings yesterday and made Red Wing last night and this place about half after three this afternoon.  I think that I will sell a machine here. The parties are to see me this evening and I am anxious to get home so that I will start again tonight at half after twelve to get home to home at four tomorrow (Saturday) and I shall be glad.
I may be up again in about thirty days.  If so I would be pleased to see you at Minneapolis to see my machines running for they are a good thing and you would be pleased to see them.
The gentleman has come to see me and I must close.
I will write again after I get home.
Yours,
Edwin
