Dear John,
Mr. Addison Bagden kindly offered to procure me the check to
save me going to Boston and also to see the box sent off by the cheapest and
best route. It is in the way of their business
to receive and send money & goods to and from all parts of the country, and
I requested him to write you the particulars how you should get you money and
the box without delay.
I received more money for you since I wrote you last, which
made it $30. I will write to you again
in a few days and give you all particulars.
I hope you have been rescued from your perilous situation and that you
and your family are all well.
From yours truly,
Thomas
G. Price
